Paul Barratt DO, PgDip, MSc, PgCAP, FHEA

Paul is an experienced osteopath, graduating in 1987 from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO), London. He has a Postgraduate Diploma in pain studies, a Master of Science degree in pain management from the University of Edinburgh and a higher education teaching qualification. Paul is also a lecturer in Pain Management at the University of Edinburgh Medical School.

Shona Mathieson BSc (Hons)

Shona is a highly experienced massage therapist offering a wide range of massage approaches: deep tissue, sports, pregnancy, hot stone and aromatherapy. She gained her degree in Complementary Therapies from Napier University in 2005 and enjoys working alongside our osteopaths to provide people with optimum care. She has experience in working with many problems including sciatica, low back pain, headaches, neck pain, carpal tunnel, poor posture and much more, and has a special interest in working with pregnant women.

Tara Drummond DO, ND, LicAc, MBAcc

Tara has nearly 30 years’ experience as an osteopath graduating from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1991. She works in the Carrick Glen Hospital, in Ayr as well as here in Edinburgh. She once spent time in China studying acupuncture and working and observing in the orthopaedic department in Shandong University teaching hospital. Tara believes in a relaxed person- centred approach to osteopathic treatment.

Kenneth McLean, BSc (Hons) Ost

Kenneth graduated from the British School of Osteopathy, in 2000 and has gained experience working in large clinics in London before moving to Scotland. His postgraduate studies have included paediatrics and ergonomics. He maintains an active interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation, providing sports injury support for various events. Kenneth is also a Community First Responder and a council member of ‘SIGN’, a working group improving the quality of healthcare in Scotland.

Colin McLelland BSc(Hons) MSc MSCP, Back2Fitness

Colin McLelland is one of Scotland’s leading Physiotherapists and is also a Sports Scientist and Performance specialist and he has considerable experience working with National Governing Bodies (SFA, SRU, SPL) and elite athletes. Colin lectures at Napier University and is used to working in results-orientated sports environments and has a reputation as an enthusiastic individual with a desire to succeed. He draws upon his extensive knowledge and expertise to help you to get “Back2Fitness” as soon as possible!

Wesley Connellan MOst

Wesley graduated with a master’s degree from the British School of Osteopathy. He has a wealth of experience treating both acute injuries and chronic pain, including osteoarthritis, disc injuries and tendinopathies in people of all ages. He particularly enjoys working with the elderly, using a combination of osteopathic techniques, advice and exercises for maintaining good movement and quality of life.
